Welcome to Dance Dedication
The friendliest dancers in Kent

Dance Dedication is an independently run modern jive club that operates within the East Kent area. The club is run by Mick Hamblin who is supported by a dedicated team of helpers.
We currently run two venues Boughton near Faversham and Dover (Whitfield). Boughton is open for classes Monday evenings and Dover has classes on a Thursday evening. Both evenings start at 8.00 pm and finish at 11.00pm
There are as many reasons for choosing to dance as there are people. At Dance Dedication we provide a safe, friendly environment where people can come for a great social evening as well as the opportunity to meet new people.
We believe that there is no such thing as a born dancer, we all have to learn and the methods we use to teach are tried and tested and always bring positive results.
Once you’ve overcome the fear of “I’m going to get it all wrong” and relax, our way of teaching will have you dancing in under an hour. Modern Jive (the dance style we teach) is simple to learn and does not include trying to remember complex foot work.
Our fully trained teachers work together to ensure that both dancers (leader and follower) receive the instructions that allow them to dance confidently.
So if your sitting at the computer looking at this & thinking “I’m bored” come along to one of our venues and challenge yourself to learn something new. Mick who runs Dance Dedication only came along for one night to keep his wife company, now he dances at least 4 nights a week and still gets a buzz from it.
Have a look at the FAQ page or better still give Mick a ring to find out more. Be warned through “this dancing thing can be addictive.”
See you on the dance floor
Mick and the team.
